Description
Durable and easy to work with, these 36" unfinished poplar dowel rods handle screws well and offer consistent quality for furniture and DIY applications. They are light-colored with a tight grain that holds paint and stain well, or can be clear coated or simply left natural.
At 6% to 8% moisture content, the dowels are accurate to ±1/64". They range in diameter from 1/4" to 2".
If you have humid storage conditions, store your dowel rods in a sealed plastic bag to help prevent warpage and swelling.
