A clever adaptation of the old slap bracelets from the early 1990s, these bands are highly effective at holding rolled materials such as giftwrap, posters or fabric – a surprisingly useful twist on a bygone fashion fad.
Just as the original bracelet would coil in place when slapped against your wrist, with just a quick tap, the strip instantly curls back on itself, wrapping firmly around the item. Made from a steel strip with a soft but durable non-slip coating, the band automatically conforms to the diameter, holding snug without squeezing. Unlike tape, it won’t leave sticky residue, and unlike an elastic band, it won’t snap suddenly and doesn’t have to be stretched over the end of the roll, avoiding damage to delicate edges.
The set includes four 9" bands that fit items approximately 1 1/4" to 2 1/2" in diameter, four 9 3/4" bands covering a range of about 1 1/2" to 2 3/4" in diameter, and two 13" bands for items 1 3/4" to 3 1/2" in diameter.
Easy to remove and reuse, they are a much-needed storage solution.
