Brass Knife-Edge Insert Nuts
Specifically engineered for softer materials, the knife edge on these inserts creates a superior holding power. Turned from solid brass, they are corrosion resistant, have well-defined internal threads, and are straightforward to install using either a bolt with a jam nut or an insert nut driver. Insert nuts are an excellent option for thinner material, where a wood screw would not afford sufficient holding power or may induce material splitting. Our range covers both Imperial and metric sizes for the most common UNC and metric threads.
