Pour Epoxies
Casting resin is a highly versatile epoxy that can be used for a wide variety of applications. It consists of two components that create an exothermic reaction when mixed, causing them to cure into a solid. We offer Deep Cast and Total Cast resin. Deep Cast is for pouring into molds or filling significant gaps. It has a low viscosity, giving it a water-thin consistency. Deep Cast cures through a chemical reaction that releases less heat than other epoxies, which helps avoid shrinkage after curing. It is often used to create river tables or poured into deep molds to create castings and suspend decorative objects. Total Cast epoxy has a thicker consistency than Deep Cast. Formulated for casting objects that will be shaped or machined, it excels at filling voids in wood turnings or for casting turning blanks. It also works well for casting small items or sealing artwork with a high-gloss finish on a wide range of materials, including canvas, wood or MDF, and metals. Both Deep Cast and Total Cast can be colored with pigments or tints.
