Made of strong fiberglass-reinforced nylon lined with soft but tough TPE (thermoplastic elastomer), the pads have a slip-resistant texture for improved safety.
The 3 1/2" × 1 3/8" pad mounts onto the jack's lift bars to protect the item being positioned, and the 4" × 4 1/2" pad fits onto the bottom of the base plate to protect floors, countertops or other bearing surfaces used to support the jack. Each slides into place without tools or fasteners and is just as easy to remove.
