This jig produces precisely fitting single, twin, triple and even quadruple matching joint halves in standard, angled, and compound angled configurations. For use with any plunge router that has two through fence rod holes at least 5/16" (8mm) in diameter, it is quick to set up and easy to use.
Made largely from machined aluminum, the pedestal table comes completely assembled and is adjustable to suit material thickness and joint positioning. Joint guides in the table determine the width and length of the mortise and tenon, controlling movement of the router sub-base over the table top.
The five guides supplied let you produce 5/16" joints with lengths of 1/2" to 1 1/2" in 1/4" increments. Also included are a matching 5/16" spiral upcut bit (1/2" shank), all the necessary tools and mounting hardware, and instructions. Additional guide sets for 3/8", 1/2" and 1/4" wide joints are available, individually or in a set of 16. By using different-sized combinations of cutters and guides, miniature work (such as needed for dollhouse furniture) can be produced.
Mounting screws are also included for Porter-Cable models #693 & 7529; Makita models #RP1100, RP1101, RP0910 & RP1110C; and Flex model #OFT2926VV.
