Used to make strong, snug-fitting joints at right angles, these knock-down panel connectors can be quickly disengaged and reassembled as often as needed without tools. Each connector consists of a pair of fittings that mount to the two panels being joined (#8 screws not included); as the connecting spline is inserted between the fittings, it draws the panels together firmly, forming a tight, rigid joint.
The small connector is made of high-impact polystyrene and occupies a 1" × 2 1/2" mounting area on each panel; the large version, made of tough fiberglass-reinforced nylon, requires a 1" × 4 1/2" mounting area per panel. Both sizes come in packages of four connectors.
