There are plenty of tool trays and holders for keeping drill bits, countersinks and other small items within reach of your drill press, but most of them are made of plastic or metal. Our tool holder is made of 18mm thick Baltic birch plywood, making it simple to adapt to your specific needs – you can enlarge the provided holes, drill new ones or make more substantial modifications using standard woodworking tools.
The 10 1/2" × 5 1/2” shelf comes with seventeen blind holes for 1/4" shanks, six for 3/8" shanks and six for 1/2" shanks, as well as a 3/8" through-drilled hole for the chuck key and a shallow 1 3/4" × 2 3/4" pocket for odds and ends. It also has a 3/4" through-hole that lets you use our lamp bushing or LED work light mounting plate and post to focus more light on your work.
Easily attached to any drill press column from 2 1/2" to 3 1/4" in diameter, it is a convenient addition to your drill press, whether used as an everyday catch-all or for storing your most frequently-needed items.
