This set of three GlassStone (GS) HR stones plus a field holder is for those who would like a good general-purpose set for maintaining and sharpening a primary bevel and polishing a secondary bevel.
The stones are 210mm × 70mm × 11mm (8 1/4" × 2 3/4" × 7/16") overall with 5mm of usable abrasive thickness, and weigh about 14 oz (400g). The set includes three stones: one 29.40µ 500x for grinding, one 7.35µ 2000x for honing, and one 0.92µ 16,000x for polishing.
The field holder weighs 1.43 lb (650g). When it is turned upside down, three glass stones can be stacked between the feet, convenient for storage or transport. In use, it gives a good working surface height of 2 3/8" (60mm).
