This is an excellent chuck with a nickel-plated carbon steel body and low-friction jaw slides designed for compatibility with any of the Teknatool jaw sets.
An auto-stop safety feature on the slides keeps the jaws from protruding past the chuck body (preventing the spinning jaws from removing a chunk of skin!). The scroll is hardened for durability and operates smoothly. Weighing 3 lb, the lever-operated chuck has a directly threaded arbor and is ideal for smaller lathes with swings up to 12".
The kit includes a woodworm screw, the required levers, a 50mm (2") jaw set and instructions. Two-year warranty. An excellent chuck for smaller project work.
