An upgraded version of our universal pen mandrel, this mandrel features a collet chuck that allows for speed and security of locking.
Much like on a router, the collet ensures positive locking and concentricity, and requires only a 1/4 rotation for a secure fit that won’t slip while turning.
An included wrench is used to lock the collet, while the knurled brass nut on the threaded end of the mandrel tightens easily under finger pressure.
Since 7mm spacers and cone spacers are included, the mandrel will adapt more easily to pen kits of different lengths and diameters, including larger blanks.
Includes a tommy bar.
