Pax Veneer Saw

Quantity:

A superb tool for veneer, inlay and marquetry work, this saw has a reversible blade with a 15 tpi crosscut tooth pattern on one side and a 15 tpi rip-cut pattern on the other.

Its curved tooth line reduces risk of wandering when starting a cut and permits cuts in the middle of a panel, such as for inlay. For neat, precise cuts in thin material, the 3" blade is only 0.022" thick, mounted on a broad backer plate across the middle for rigidity.

The right-hand walnut handle is offset for knuckle clearance and to allow a clear line of sight to your cut.

Made in Sheffield, England, by a firm that’s been making premium-quality handsaws since 1776.
