Milled from tool steel and surface ground, it has a 1/4" thick body, a 2" long 90° reference face, and a 1 1/2" 45° miter face. The 4" rule is graduated in 32nds on one edge and 64ths on the other, with finely etched and black-filled marks for legibility.
