The fully polished blades are hand forged from high-carbon steel, hardened to Rc61 for durability, and require only final stropping.
As the name suggests, these gouges have a blade with a flared tip for making sharp edges and getting into corners without damaging adjacent shapes. They feature a #3 curvature (or sweep) and are available in either a 10mm or 20mm blade width.
