Better Spreader

Quantity:

As delightful to use as it is to admire, this spreader has a broad, curved blade that not only holds a generous amount of spread but also lets you effectively follow the contours of a bowl. The neck tapers from the blade to the handle so you can reach into a jar and scrape under its rim.

We found it a versatile tool for spreading anything from butter and icing to soft cheese and avocados. The thin, flat handle fits the hand well and is contoured for a comfortable, controlled grip.

Available in right- and left-hand models, each approximately 7 1/2" long overall with a 3 1/4" blade. Made from hard maple by a small family-run business in Québec, and finished with food-grade mineral oil and beeswax, it will last a lifetime if used with reasonable care. Hand wash only.

As with any item made from natural materials, minor variations in size, appearance and other characteristics are to be expected.
