Offset Frosting Spatulas

Quantity:

These spatulas have stainless-steel blades that taper in thickness, so they are more flexible toward the tip but stiffer near the handle, making them both effective and versatile. The offset handle lets you spread frosting on cakes or cupcakes without collecting it on your knuckles, as so often happens with a straight knife.

Along with icing cakes, the larger size with an 8" long blade is widely used by professional pastry chefs for spreading fillings, smoothing batter, and lifting and transferring pastries.

The smaller size with a 3 5/8" long blade works well for embellishment after spreading and can serve as a lifter for small hors d’oeuvres and appetizers. It also acts as a scraper for the inside of preserving jars to collect the last bits of jam or jelly, avoiding waste and making wash-up simpler.
