While it may look a little dorky, this cart is designed to take stairs, curbs and other short obstacles in stride. On flat surfaces, it rolls smoothly on two wheels, but once it comes to the edge of a step, the triple-wheel assembly automatically pivots over the obstruction, either reaching upward to position another wheel onto the step above, or swinging down onto the step below, keeping your load stable as it climbs up or down. Well balanced, the cart supports loads up to 200 lb (90kg) on flat surfaces or 75 lb (34kg) on stairs.
The tubular steel frame stands about 40" tall in use and folds to a compact 29" tall, 18 1/2" wide and 11" deep for storage. Weighing only 6.8 lb (about 3kg), the cart has a cushioned handle, 4 1/2" dia. puncture-proof tires, and a 13" × 9" bed that can rest flush against the floor to slide under heavy items.
