Often mistaken for beneficial species of native ladybugs, invasive Asian ladybugs are a nuisance when they gather and nest indoors in large numbers. This simple non-toxic trap can capture as many as 1000 of them before needing replacement.
Placed in an upper corner of any window where they congregate, the trap takes advantage of the insects' natural behavior to instinctively climb into corners. Entering through a slot in the top of the trap, the ladybug becomes coated with an extremely fine natural powder derived from ground eggshells, which renders it unable to escape.
The 9 3/4" × 3" × 1 3/4" trap mounts using two removable peel-and-stick adhesive strips. Activate the removable lure by submerging it in water, and rehydrate the lure as needed. For best results, place one trap in each window where you observe the ladybugs gathering.
