As soon as a watch, warning or advisory is issued, it displays a scrolling message across the screen and flashes a color-coded LED indicator. It also functions as a regular AM/FM alarm clock radio (the weather alerts automatically override radio broadcasts). The radio measures approximately 6 3/4" × 5 1/2" × 2 1/4" tall and weighs less than 1 lb (without batteries).
