This clever mounting system uses magnetic tacks to neatly hold paper, photos and other thin materials without damaging them. The lightweight, flexible steel mounting strip is 48" long by 3/4" wide, backed with a durable peel-and-stick PSA foam for permanent attachment to a wall or other clean, dry surface at any angle from horizontal to vertical.
The strip can be used full length or cut into shorter lengths with scissors, and comes with six magnetic tacks, each with a 1/4" rare-earth magnet in the 7/16" diameter plastic base. Each tack clings to the metal strip with enough strength to hold several sheets of paper. Additional magnetic tacks are available separately in a package of six.
Aside from the many obvious uses in the home or workplace, we found this system particularly convenient to hold project plans open above a workbench.
