It provides temperature and humidity readings, and monitors barometric pressure to predict approaching conditions, shown as icons (sunny, partly sunny, cloudy, rainy, stormy) on the color LCD screen. It measures indoor temperature from 0° to 50°C (32° to 122°F) and outdoor temperature from -40° to 60°C (-40° to 140°F) as well as humidity (1% to 99% indoors, 10% to 99% outdoors), providing min/max readings for both. Temperature trends are also displayed.
Additional features include temperature alerts, and a date and time clock with alarm. The radio-controlled clock receives signals from the U.S. Atomic Clock in Boulder, Colorado, and automatically calibrates itself daily to ensure accuracy, even updating for Daylight Saving Time.
The backlit screen operates on a 5.0V AC adapter or three AAA batteries (not included). It also comes with a wireless outdoor sensor that can be mounted up to 300' (90m) away and operates on two AA batteries (not included).
