An excellent tool for quick, precise weeding, it has a diamond-shaped blade that’s sharpened on both the front and back edges, so it can be used in an efficient back-and-forth motion. Its curved shaft positions the 3 1/2" wide blade parallel to the soil surface, so by simply raising or lowering the handle slightly, you can run the blade across or just below the surface to slice weeds at the root.
Besides the beech handle, all components are electroplated hardened steel for durability and corrosion resistance. The comfortable, contoured handle is lacquered and has a ferrule that caps the end grain to prevent swelling or splitting. 10 1/8" long overall.
