Strong yet lightweight and comfortable to use, this spade and fork are intended for tasks that require heavy digging. They are well suited for ground preparation and harvesting and can also be used for transplanting and mixing soil amendments.

Each tool measures about 43" long with a durable ash shaft set in a deep socket. The head on the fork is 11 1/2" × 7", while the head on the spade is 11 1/4" × 7" and has a foot tread to prevent damage to your footwear and your arches. The spade weighs 4 lb 6 oz and the fork is 3 lb 12 oz.

Both tools exceed the British standard of 121 lb of prying force at the end of the handle without breaking; however, they are not indestructible and should not be used to uproot saplings or move boulders. As with any wood-handled tools, we do not recommend leaving them outdoors in the rain.

The tools are also available individually.
