ABOUT FLUSH CUTTING SAWS

Indispensable in any shop, flush-cutting saws are used for a variety of jobs, from trimming through tenons to dressing dovetails and trimming plugs flush with a surface (anywhere a flush cut is needed next to a finished surface). They have thin, flexible blades with either no tooth set or with the teeth set to one side only, ensuring the blades can be used flush against a surface to trim projections without damaging the surface. Available with a single or double edge, these saws have a Japanese tooth pattern that cuts cleanly on the pull stroke.
