Dylos DC1100 PRO Air Quality MonitorMade in U.S.A.

Quantity:

Wood dust and other airborne particles in the workshop can have a number of adverse effects, from contaminating finishes to various health problems. Easy to set up and use, this air monitoring system helps assess risks so you can make informed decisions about the air quality in your workshop.

To measure the amount of particulate matter within a localized area, the monitor uses a small fan to draw air past a laser; a sensor then detects any interruptions in the beam, precisely indicating the presence of wood dust and other airborne materials often invisible to the human eye. The monitor gives separate readings for two particle size ranges: 0.5 to 2.5 microns (e.g., fine dust, bacteria, mold, smoke, smog) and 2.5 microns and up (e.g., coarse dust, pollen, larger bacteria), displaying concentrations in parts per cubic foot of air on an LCD screen. Readings do not identify the specific types of particles or if they present a hazard but can be interpreted to determine if your dust-collection and/or health and safety equipment is adequate to the task.

It operates in three modes. On the continuous setting, it provides ongoing readings in real time. On the monitor setting, it tests the air for 1 minute every hour, giving a general overview of air quality over time. The history setting can be used to review air quality readings over the past hour, day or month.

The unit is powered by a 6' cord that plugs into any standard household electrical outlet. cULus listed. Made in USA.
