Ebiara (Berlinia spp.) – Also known as red zebrawood, it ranges from light pinkish-tan to a deeper reddish-brown streaked with darker grain. It typically has interlocking grain patterns but can also be straight grained, and although the dense, coarse-textured wood is prone to tear-out, it is relatively easy to turn with well-sharpened tools.
Nominal measurements are 3/4" square by 5" long.
