Large Basswood Spoon Carving Blank

Identical to the larger of two spoon blanks included with our MIY spoon carving kit, this basswood blank is available separately to offer carvers more options for spoon carving projects.

A light-colored, medium-density wood, basswood is easy to work, with straight grain and a fine, even texture that takes detail well. It’s also safe for food contact.

Pre-cut to a rough spoon shape, the 1" thick blank is 12" long and 3" wide.
