Tungsten carbide maintains its hardness at high temperatures and holds an edge far longer than high-carbon or high-speed steels. The bit bodies have a non-stick coating for easy resin removal.
The French Provincial classic #1 bit has a body diameter of 1”, a depth of 7/8”, a shank diameter of 1/2" and a radius of 5/32”.
For better safety, this bit should be used only in a router table equipped with a fence and not used free hand.
It includes an advanced polymer friction-fit holder that can be mounted horizontally or upright.
The bit use a 1/2” × 3/16” replacement bearing (available separately).
