Designed to cut aluminum and other soft, non-ferrous metals, these spiral “O” single-flute carbide bits provide an upward cut that delivers both a shearing and an auguring action.
The “O” flute is deeper than the flutes on a standard CNC bit and efficiently ejects chips up and away, dispersing heat to prevent melting and chip rewelding, resulting in clean cuts and a prolonged bit life.
The micro-thin zirconium nitride coating minimizes friction to further reduce heat generation, helping the cutting edge retain its sharpness while preventing the flute from building up with material or galling. 1/4" shank.
