These template guides are used to follow the outline of a pattern. The 1 3/4" guides fit the Veritas base plate/table insert or any 1 1/2" through-bore base plate with a 1 3/4" counterbore.
The router bit protrudes through the hole in the center of the guide with the side of the guide bearing against the edge of the template. Made from solid brass, these guides are attached using the threaded brass ring nut (only one ring nut is necessary, regardless of the number of template guides you purchase). Sold singly or as a set of six guides (3/8", 7/16", 5/8", 3/4", 1", and 1 1/2" outside diameter) and a ring nut. Ring nut also available separately.
Outside and inside diameters listed as well as height. The 7/16" diameter template guide fits most dovetail jigs and accepts a 1/2" dovetail bit.
The 1/2" high guides are particularly useful for letter templates.
