The Center Master Solo does exactly what it implies – it allows you to perfectly align the center of a blank to the face plate, helping to reduce vibration and permit more precise turning.

Simply drill a 1/4" pilot hole in the blank after measuring to the exact center or at the pivot point left by a circle-cutting jig. After you thread the jig to the face plate, the included centering pin lets you align it with the pilot hole and hold it steady. Once the centered face plate has been fastened to the blank, the jig and centering pin are easily removed before mounting the blank onto a lathe.

Available in two thread sizes, 1" × 8 and 1 1/4" × 8, to fit most lathe face plates.
