About Veritas seconds: this stock of our iron edge-trimming plane (05P0375) has some minor cosmetic flaw – a scratch, a pit in the casting or tiny blemishes – but the plane is functionally perfect. Quantities of seconds are limited and expected to sell out quickly.
An edge-trimming plane works end grain or gives final trimming cuts on jointed boards, for smooth edges exactly 90° to the face. It is cast in durable ductile iron for everyday use and has a 12° bed angle.
