E.C. Emmerich Traditional Wooden Try Plane

Quantity:

Nothing represents tradition in woodworking like the wooden plane, with many design elements that have remained unchanged for hundreds of years.

One of the reasons for their enduring popularity is that they are lighter than comparable steel planes and are therefore less tiring to use.

In addition to jointing edges, this 550mm (21 5/8") long plane is well suited for levelling large boards. It has a beech body with a hornbeam sole, a closed rear tote made of beech, and a wedged 48mm (1 7/8") wide double iron set bevel-down at a 45° bed angle. The blade is adjusted by light hammer taps to set angle and projection, a process that permits fine, quick adjustment.

Made in Germany by E.C. Emmerich, the manufacturer of the finest wooden planes available today.

Not available for shipment to Québec.
