Description
Used to apply decorative incised designs, this rounded cutter is based on a tool used in Europe to engrave geometric patterns on traditional Scandinavian furniture.
This U.S.-made version has a 3" long aluminum stylus handle with the same 0.3" diameter as a standard pencil, so it's easy to use freehand against a wooden straightedge, or with a trammel or lockable compass to cut circles and arcs. Secured by a knurled collet, the looped carbon-steel blade makes cuts about 1/16" deep.
