This 17 3/4" aluminum bevel is useful for large-scale layouts such as marking the ends on a live-edge slab. It is well suited for timber framing as it can take inside or outside angles for transfer to your lumber or trim.
Once your line has been marked, the 1/8" thick arm is robust enough to be used as a straight edge to run your circular saw against. The stock portion of the tool includes metric measurements to 45cm and a graduated angle guide in 1° increments ranging from 20° to 120° with an additional increment at 135°.
The large knob locks firmly, and a sturdy cross brace prevents any accidental shifts, allowing you to take direct measurements without worrying about losing your angle when making the transfer. The satin finish allows erasable pencil marks to be made directly onto the tool.
