These half-round rasps are available in three sizes, each with a different grain or level of coarseness, to provide a broad range of shaping capabilities. Made of steel hardened to about Rc65, the teeth are hand stitched with a consistent density, cutting equally well right or left handed.
The 6" rasp is 10 1/2" overall. It has fine teeth intended for final shaping, and its narrow profile allows it to be used in confined spaces.
The 8" is a medium-cut rasp that measures 12 1/2" overall. It removes any coarse scratch patterns that have been left behind.
The 10" rasp is 15" overall with a coarse tooth pattern for quick shaping that still leaves the wood surface fairly smooth.
Each has a smooth, unfinished wood handle that fits comfortably in the hand.
