Henry Taylor #11 Spoon Gouges

Our professional carving tools are made by the firm Henry Taylor Tools Ltd. of Sheffield. They are hand forged, which results in a fine-grained steel that holds an edge well and will last a lifetime if given normal care. They have brass ferrules and select beech handles. Due to the hand forging, sizes are nominal and shapes may vary slightly. They come with a factory grind and require sharpening and final honing.

These spoon gouges have a similar curvature to straight gouges with the same number, but the end of the tool is shaped like a spoon for fine concave shaping.
