Built to endure abuse in the garden, kitchen and workshop, these compact, sturdy shears are suitable for rough tasks such as cutting rope, breaking down cardboard boxes or opening plastic packaging. They have thick, steep-bevelled blades made of stainless-steel, with micro-serrations on one blade to help prevent stubborn materials from slipping or twisting as you cut.
Usable right- or left-handed, the shears have contoured spring-return handles to reduce effort, a safety clasp that locks the blades closed when not in use, and a non-slip thermoplastic rubber coating for a comfortable, cushioned grip. Measuring 5 3/4" overall, they tuck easily into a pocket. The heat-treated blades have 1 1/4" cutting edges and a compact, tapered shape for use in tight spots.
