Cooling/Cooking Racks

(Pair)

Quantity:

While we originally designed these nesting stainless-steel cookie racks with a fine mesh to avoid distortion of cookies and muffins when they are set out to cool, we also found them quite useful in the oven and on the barbecue.

We discovered they are ideal for spatter-free cooking of bacon in the oven, producing evenly cooked bacon with no scorching, no fat pockets and no mess. Pressed between the racks, the bacon came out perfectly flat as well.

We also found them useful for roasting meat in the oven. When placed on a baking pan, the rack keeps the meat elevated, allowing hot air to circulate so the meat cooks more quickly and evenly, and allowing fat to drip into the pan.

On the barbecue, they are a good option when cooking small cuts or delicate foods that might otherwise fall through the grate.

Supplied in pairs, the nesting racks are available in quarter- or half-sheet sizes. The quarter-sheet racks fit in a standard quarter-sheet 12 1/2" × 9" pan. The half-sheet racks fit in a standard half-sheet 11" × 16 1/2" pan.
