With these kits, you can create model aircraft with finely etched details. The models are constructed of pieces that are laser-cut from 11cm (4 3/8") square sheets of metal. To assemble, pop out the pieces by hand and use needle-nose pliers (or tweezers) to bend the tabs and fit the pieces together. For ages 14 and up, each model takes about two hours to assemble. Although they require a certain level of manual skill and patience, the time and effort render a fascinating collectible.
