Fitting into a standard 5 gallon bucket (or any bucket with a 12" diameter), this insert helps keep bulk items fresh longer.
As the insert is pressed down into the bucket, the silicone gasket provides a snug fit, while a degassing valve allows the air to squeeze out without re-entering. The lid also self-burps to release any excess air that may build up over time with pressure changes.
To remove the insert, pull the release trigger on the underside of the handle and lift. An excellent device for prolonging the freshness of anything from grass seed to road salt.
Insert does not replace the bucket lid.
