Originally billed as "the minimalist key ring with maximum strength," the KeySmart line was invented in Chicago and brought to life by a Kickstarter campaign in 2013 (then the most successful campaign to date). They are robust and thoughtfully designed products that fit most standard keys and require no tools – the posts unscrew with a coin to add or change keys.
If you are continually losing your keys, the KeySmart Pro is the model for you. It is compatible with the Tile app, using Bluetooth Low Energy technology.
If your keys are within 30m (100') of your iOS or Android device, you can make your KeySmart play a loud tone, or pinpoint it on a map. Conversely, you can use the KeySmart to locate your phone, making it play a chime if it's in range.
The KeySmart Pro is recharged using the included Micro-USB cable and will hold a charge for up to three months.
It accommodates up to 10 keys, has a built-in LED flashlight, and includes a combination bottle opener/loop ring (uses one key space).
Additional accessory tools (each replaces a key) are available separately.
