Its soft, cushioned sides and broad, sturdy straps make it more comfortable to carry by hand or over the shoulder than a hard-sided cooler, especially for long periods. The tough 840-denier fabric is treated to resist damage, and all seams are high-frequency welded, making them leakproof and stronger than stitching.
Similar to those used on survival suits, the sturdy, airtight, waterproof zipper has a locking mechanism so it won't open by mistake, and a thick coating of dense rubber-like polymer protects the bottom of the cooler against wear while helping maintain its shape.
Side handles are fitted with D-rings for tying the cooler down for transport, and four rows of external mounting points are convenient for attaching other gear. With inside dimensions of 8 1/2" × 10 1/4" × 14 1/4", it holds 20 standard beverage cans and ice (at a 2:1 ice-to-cans ratio by volume).
