This fabric screen provides effective sun protection in back yards or on decks and patios, helping you beat the heat without needing to retrieve your patio umbrella from wherever the wind takes it or wait for your shade trees to grow tall. To provide strength and durability for seasons of use, it is made to our specifications from dense-knit (300g/m²) polyethylene fabric that blocks 90% of the sun’s UV rays, with reinforced stitching and UV, mold and mildew inhibitors.
Secured with the included heavy-gauge 316 stainless-steel hardware, the permeable screen allows wind and rain to pass through, minimizing strain on the fittings and preventing water from accumulating on top. (We recommend storing the screen during the off-season and in extreme weather conditions.)
