Although designed to be mounted on a windshield, this hands-free mobile phone holder can be used on other smooth, non-porous surfaces, such as a desk or countertop. The large cam-operated suction cup at the base of the 4 1/2" aluminum arm applies a firm, lasting hold until you release it with the flip of a lever.
The arm has a locking hinge that adjusts its projection above the mounting surface, while a steel ball at the tip of the arm clings to a bracket with a magnetic disc on the back. Ratcheting jaws on the bracket grip phones up to 3 1/2" (90mm) wide between non-marring pads. It holds securely but lets you adjust the viewing angle as well as rotate the screen to a portrait or a landscape orientation.
The spring-loaded jaws release at the touch of a lever, so it’s easy to interchange devices. Additional cushioned jaw liners are included for holding narrow phones from 57mm to 65mm wide (about 2 1/4" to 2 1/2").
To expand the system, the arm, 1" magnetic discs and extra phone brackets are also available separately.
