This plug-in kit gives you everything you need to install customized dimmable indoor LED lighting.
An easy DIY project that’s well within the abilities of most homeowners, the kit includes a 2.5m (about 98 1/2") length of tape lighting* consisting of 60 LEDs per metre sealed in a clear protective jacket. The flexible tape conforms to curves and can be cut to length (in 2" increments) for a custom fit, and it has a peel-and-stick backing that adheres well to most smooth, dry surfaces.
Cut sections can be joined using two included 8" wire-lead connectors to bridge gaps or to make tight bends around corners. The low-profile tape sits just 1/16" above the mounting surface, so it’s inconspicuous in a wide range of applications.
Producing warm white diffused light that’s adjustable from a gentle, ambient glow up to 800 lumens for bright task lighting, it comes with a remote control that operates by radio frequency, so you don’t need a direct line of sight to adjust the setting. The energy-efficient lighting runs on only 12V and comes with a pre-wired 30W power supply unit, so you can simply plug the 5' power cord into a standard 120V wall outlet.
Supplied with a detailed planning and installation guide to help adapt the kit to your needs, this is straightforward lighting with a wide range of functional and decorative uses.
These lights are compatible only with our 12V LED system and are not compatible with our 24V LED system.
* For larger installations, the kit can be expanded by up to 5m (about 196") using lengths of the warm or natural white LED tape light that we offer separately by the foot or in bulk rolls.
