Sold by the foot, this lighting is an economical option when adding a short length of lighting to a kit. For example, if you need 10' of lighting, instead of buying two 8' kits, order one 8' kit plus another 2' of lighting and use a splice connector to join the light strips.
The 30 LEDs per metre (9 LEDs per foot) density is a good choice for indirect accent lighting, where ambience is the primary purpose of the light. The 60 LEDs per metre (18 LEDs per foot) density provides brighter illumination and a more seamless output (given the greater density of LEDs). It can also be used for lower-brightness task lighting when set to white.
To allow a custom fit, the lighting can be cut with scissors at the nearest cut line, marked every few inches along its length, and is backed with a high-tack peel-and-stick adhesive that makes mounting easy.
The lights are CSA, cETLus or cUL listed. The LEDs are rated to last, maintenance free, for 50,000 hours (equivalent to five hours per day for 27 years).Â
These lights are compatible only with our 12V LED system and are not compatible with our 24V LED system.
