This 12-shelf unit (six door-mounted) makes excellent use of a small volume.
Mounted in a cabinet (free standing or built in) 20" deep, and an interior width of at least 16 1/4", it has a sliding shelf rack linked to the cabinet door. As the door is opened, the rear set of shelves slides forward by 5" for easier access.
Door-mounted shelves have a usable area of 12" × 5 1/4", while the rear shelves have a usable area of 13 1/2" × 11 1/4". All shelves have an overall height just over 3", and can be spaced variably (in 2" increments).
The rear frame adjusts in height from 69 1/2" to 81 1/2". All frames have a gray epoxy coating, and all shelves are chrome plated.
Weight capacity is 11 lb per inner basket, to a maximum of 130 lb for the entire unit. Weight capacity of the door-mounted shelves depends on the hinges used to support the door and the screws used to fasten the frame to the door.
