These hinges set the standard for European-style hinges. They install quickly and easily, and are completely hidden when the door is closed. Hinges are spring-loaded with two rest positions, fully open or fully closed. They are nickel plated for a clean, rust-proof finish.
The arm of the Modul hinge is secured to the mounting plate with a single screw. This screw also controls door depth adjustment. The hinge is adjustable in three dimensions, and is a good choice for applications where you will not be removing the doors or want to prevent doors from being removed without tools (e.g., public places or children’s furniture).
The compact face-mount type is ideal for retrofitting doors on a crooked carcass (to mask sag or misalignment) or for mounting a door where the hinges must be hidden, e.g., a service-panel cover. Requires 1 3/8" minimum overlay.
The hinges open 110°. Mounting plates are 1/8" thick. The 35mm (1 3/8") diameter hinge cup is 13mm (1/2") deep. Hinge cups are all-metal.
