Housed within a wall-mounted cabinet that you build, the bed can be easily relocated. Sized for standard double or queen mattresses, the kits are available in horizontal- or vertical-folding versions.
The standard kits use hinged legs that fold into recesses on the exposed cabinet face; an integral catch ensures that the bed cannot be lowered until the legs are extended.
Each kit contains a pair of pistons, mattress retaining straps, pivots, hinges, stops, and all necessary wall- and leg-mounting hardware. Also included are extensive construction notes for plywood core frames (solid wood is not recommended) and for particleboard frames.
